the nhra seems to struggle releasing any news that is not of a
*positive* nature. dont get me wrong here but the older i get the more
the nhra organization seems to be moving towards a marketing
organization moreso that a drag racing sanctioning body. i have been a
fan since the 70's and started attending matches at the old orange
county raceway (CA) but lately i have been getting turned off to the
point that i dont want to make the trek to las vegas twice a year like i
used to.
