my main power to the ecm off the + of the battery keeps burning off. what
do I check first?1992 sentra

Doesn't this supply go through a fuse? What is 'burning off'?

burning is not good ever! lol sounds like a short.... tried to put in
an accy socket under my passenger seat of my car, forgot to install a
fuse, went to put it all back to gether and as soon as I turned the
key, smoke and fire..... (seat bracket pinched the wire and shorted
out) lesson learned always use a fuse. messed up my ignition relay
too...
