If you find one with a 260V8, I'd stay away from that. I forget what the
last year was for that engine, though. It was pre-1981 at least when the
body style changed though, I believe.
Aside from that, if you can find a Cutlass with a 307, I'd go for that. 87
and 88 are my favorite with the "Euro" front end. You probably won't find
an 88, since there weren't too many of those put out. As far as pre-87, 86
is my favorite, because of the grill.
