HELP!

I recently had a complete primary instrument cluster failure. The
speedometer, fuel, temperature, digital odometer and digital shift
indicator all stopped working....it does come back
sporadically...usually lasting for a several seconds (enough to glance
at the fuel guage!) then goes out again.

Secondary instruments all work including the warning panel above the
primary cluster. 'Check Engine Light' is also illuminated....vehicle
running fine.....might this indicate the cluster problem??

Fuses look good. I even removed (for about twenty minutes or so) the
'IOD' fuse from the fuse box under the hood....hoping this might
clear any computer/communication glitches...unsuccessful.

Any help/experiences appreciated. Thanks! SW

You may have to get the BCM reflashed with the latest update, have the
dealer check to see if there is a fault code stored in the BCM for a Panel
dimmer cuircuit failue. There could be a number of reasons that could cause
this problem...have the dealer check it out

Hi there,
I had the very same problem on a Voyager 2005, I already found something that could be the solution, here is my last reply:

An update...
After some research in the net I've found the failure and repair procedure, here is the link
http://www.alldata.com/tsb/Chrysler/1117263600000_1118127600000_08-028-05/
the problem now will be to make our Mexican Chrysler dealer to perform such repair since they had no idea of the failure or notification from Daimler Chrysler Mexico... I will let you know how it goes "

Check the thread of this post, "Grand Caravan Initial Poor Quality - Body Control E"
