I have a chance to buy a 1992 Cutlass Supreme with the 3.1 L V6 engine in
it. Is there anything that I should know before making my choice? Are these
engines any good? Any other commom problems on these cars?

RM

The 3.1L V6 is an awesome engine. I have a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
with 130,000 Miles on it, and it still drives like new. I have not had to
put a single dime into the engine, aside from regular oil changes, etc...

Look for water leaks around the cornors of the intake especialy just above the transmission.3.1 and 3.4 intake gaskets are made of plastic with rubber seals and they always will leak at these points.
