The one annoying and recurring problem I've had with my 147 lusso is
activation ofthe airbag warning light. Various dealers have had
various attempts, but it is on again (half way home from the dealer
that reset it this morning).

Diagnostics are indicating that it the seat connectors, drivers side
was this morning cleaned and the light reset. Another dealer
previously had it for a day and re-routed the cabling under the
drivers seat. This seemed to work for about 6 months until last week.

Is there a long term fix for this problem? does it help to replace
these clips, what do they do? can you simply hard wire (ie solder)
the cables and remove the clips althogether?

(something a bit less drastic than removing the LED as suggeste by
Hughes to my last post!!! - thanks anyway though)

cheers all, Philip

My wife's Saxo has suffered the same problem for some time. The local dealer
was well aware of this fault which is caused by the electrical joint in the
cable going up into the driver's seat. His regular solution was to "hardwire
" it which I assumed to mean to solder the connection permanently together.
You can test to see if this is the cause by moving the driver's seat
backwards or forwards a bit which I found would provide a temporary respite
from the problem.

My GTV has developed the same problem, i got told that it could be a loose
connection under the seat!
