As common as those cars are, you'd be better off just looking for a stick
shift.

I agree. The cost of the swap - and the mess you will make - is not
worth it. Sell the car - go buy one with a stick. You will get more
money for the one with automatic transmission because it is more
desirable.

When you go to sell the "swapped" car - it will have no resale value.

Also you will avoid the "down time" of the swap.

What do you need?? about $2000 if you pay someone to do it or about $1000
if you plan to do all of the work yourself. I advise you to trade your 94
civic in on a 95 or 96 civic that has a manual transmission.

It wont be worth converting it to a manual. You will be better off
selling your auto and buying a manual.
