Hello

Is it possible to get air shocks for a 1998 Lexus ES300?

A 90 year old man living in southeastern FL has an electric scooter
mounted to a lift and the lift scapes and/or knocks speed bumps and
when going over other dips and bumps on the road. The Lexus
dealership told him to get air shocks but various car specialists told
him that he can't get air shocks for this car (or for a Camry
equivalent). I searched the Net and came up with nothing; the manager
at a car shop did the same with the same results. The only
alternative may be heavy duty springs, but he was told this would make
the ride significantly less comfortable for him.

If air shocks are not available for a 1998 Lexus ES300 and heavy duty
springs are not acceptable, are there any other options?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I did a google search of "air springs" and came up with a couple:
airridepro.com has custom strut applications.
http://www.arnottairride.com has custom air adjustable shock absorbers.

Hopefully, one of these will work.

I thought that one of their "custom" applications might work.

Sorry I couldn't help.

I didn't just check their websites; I called.

I'm sorry your leads didn't pan out, but I thank you again for trying.
