Can anyone recommend a child (forward facing, not infant) car seat that will
fit in the rear seats of an 95 XJS convertible? I called the local dealer,
but they had no suggestions. .

I have a 42" boy and I sit him on a "booster" placed on the back seat
behind my wife (the front seat is in a forward position). The booster
is like a cube-shaped plastic seat with armrests and no back. A strap
fixed to the bottom of the booster allows to lower the top of the
seatbelt to the height of the child's shoulder.
You find that in any supermarket.
The only problem is that the booster has just a little fabric cushion,
whereby you cannot have it easily upholstered in leather. Pity.
