Post subject: XG350 Starting problem

I can start the car and it will idle fine, push the gas motor revs up. When I press on the brake pedal to put the car in gear the engine dies. If I try and start the car with my foot on the brake it will not start. As soon as I take my foot off the brake the engine starts right up.
