Post subject: Wood spoke wheels
Archived from groups: alt>autos>antique (more info?)

Good Morning Gentlemen!
I am considering restoring a 1931 Buick in poor condition. Does anybody
know or remember what kind of wood was used for the ten spoke wheels?
I have heard hickory, maple, oak, and others but nobody I have talked to
knows what Buick did in '31.

Thank you for your time and expertise!

Jack
