Hi,
My wiper switch hasn't worked for awhile. The wipers were always on -
in the fast position. Since I rarely am caught in the rain, I was
able to continue by pulling the F-2 fuse in the power distribution
panel below the steering wheel. I have become adept at inserting this
fuze without taking my eyes off the road.
The F-2 fuze is a 6 amp cb. - What does the "cb" mean?
Recently, a service station, apparently seeing the missing fuze,
inserted a 15 amp fuze into the F-2 location. I have now pulled that
15 amp fuze - but when I insert the 6 amp cb fuze, the wipers don't
work at all.
Could placing a 15 amp fuze in this circuit have damaged the wiper
motor?
