1999 Volvo S80 T6 ... wipers just suddenly stopped working. It sounds
like the motor may still be working, but the wipers do not move in the
least. Any ideas?

Try checking to see if the nuts that hold the arms to the pivot are
tight, that just happened to me, although to have both nuts fail at the
same time is unlikely.... Perhaps the arm inside came undone somewhere

If the motor is still turning and makes the usual sound, it is probably
OK.

Look for a disconnect between the output shaft of the wiper motor where
it connects to the wiper linkage: could have come loose.

240 windshield replacement - I have too many cars, one of them is an old '81 242 which I'm fixing up a bit to sell. It needs a new windshield, badly cracked and leaking. There's plenty of decent glass at the local wreckers but how do I get one in and out? Is it within the realm o...

removing windshield washer nozzle - I've got a 91 740 wagon. My right windshield washer nozzle always seems to be the one to plug up. How do I get them out? I want to try to soak it in vinegar or something, to see if I can dissolve the mineral deposits, or whatever is clogging it.
