Well this posting is aimed at UK kit car owners please forward this to your
friends.

I have learned that Tony Blair and his crony's are now to bring in a law
that says all cars have to be insured all the time even when not on the
road.
This will include any donor cars on your property.
Also think about other implications if you go abroad for several months and
have your car locked up in your garage when your insurance may run out or
for that mater you may normally cancel your insurance, you will receive a
fine.

You will all probably know by now about all MOT's now having to be done on
line at your MOT station this is going to put some places out of business
because of the reduced turn over in MOT's they can manage in a day.
Also it means we will all have to pay up to twice as much for an MOT in
future.

When TB got into power one of the first things he did was to stop the
rolling 25 year Tax exemption rule that the Conservatives rightly brought
in.

Tony Blair has banned more things in his term than any other PM in history
this is eroding our rights, and many of the things he is doing you don't
know about until it is too late!

I suppose not many of you even know toy guns are to be banned this month,
that's right you will not be able to buy some toy guns for your son in
future, maybe you should think about getting him a Barbie doll instead.

Electronic ID cards are an other thing he want's, the only people that will
not need one will be asylum seekers who can say their name is anything they
like and foreign tourists, so ID cards are just an other way to control and
get more money out of the UK tax payer.

I urge you all to wright to your MP about these things before it is too
late!

Nigel.

There are also many people who have one car for the Summer and one for the
Winter and transfer the insurance this may put a stop to that unless you
have the money for two policies.
Also if you take your car in for an MOT in advance and it fails because it
has been done on line the existing MOT from say 11 months earlier will be
void.
There will also be no chance of a free retest in future because all MOT's
are to be booked in advance with the DVLA.

As I said if you are out of the country when your car insurance expires you
will be fined but there will be some form of SORN option it seems.
