Just got back from the spring HSR event at Sebring. Had a great time.
No Ferrari's, though. Lots of Porsche, and those great GTP/IMSA/Group C
cars.

Oh, and one of my favorites - Lister-Jaguar. There was also an Allard
there - first time I've seen on of those in the flesh. HUGE Chrysler
Hemi, sort of a 50's era version of a Shelby Cobra. Same concept at
least, big motor, light chassis. Goes like stink in a straight line but
corners like a boat...

Anybody interested in the pictures, should have some up this week.

Posted just under 500 pictures (sorted out of ~1000 I took) from last
weekend's Sebring Vintage race.

Highlights were a Lister-Jaguar, Allard, Bentley LMP, Audi R8, and a few
others.

550 Maranello. Good 1st Ferrari? - My only experience driving a Ferrari was in 1985 when a friend allowed me to drive his 1979 512BB Boxer. Car was stunning to look at but a handful to drive. How is the 550 Maranello in comparison?. Heavy clutch?, manuverable at low speeds?.
