Post subject: Twisted Steering Wheel

I ran into a curve (don't ask). The car was fine immediately after I kissed the curve.

However, when I drove it about five hours later, I noticed the steering wheel was twisted (i.e. in order to keep the car on a straight path, I had to drive with my steering wheel at an angle).

In addition, I hear a hissing sound from the tire that hit the curve. This sound goes on for about 1 minute after I park the car. However, the tire did not go flat.

I have a 2005 Ford Focus.
Any suggestions about what the problem could be.
