http://Isuzu-Trooper.autoboardz.com/92-accord-flasher-ftopict188660.html (92 accord flasher question...)
I am trying to replace my turn signal flasher. I have located it under the dash but I am having a hard time removing it. Are there some sort of clips or locking device that i am missing? Judging by the new flasher in my hand, the old one should just pull right out like a plug. -thanks, Goose

Where is the turn signal flasher module located on a 200 Caravan?
« Under the dash to the left of the brake pedal, its a big relay. if your turn signals don't work, tap on the relays under there with the T/S on and see if it starts clicking Glenn Beasley Chrysler Tech »
« Thanks Glenn. Actually, the issue I'm having is from time to time the left turn signal light remains on and not flashing and I have to move the turn signal lever back and forth several times to rele.. »
« you probably have a bulb in the system with a cracked element. The next time this happens, stop the vehicle and look at all the lights on that side and see which one is out. »

For a 94 Accord, is there a separate flasher that can be easily and inexpensively replaced - like cars had back in the day? Or is it more complicated than that? When I move the turn signal lever, I get rapid clicking for a few seconds, but the indicator arrows don't light up. But then it set..
« @newsfe21.lga: It's your combo switch, not any "flasher" wearing out. The combo switch is the assembly behind the steering wheel which houses the turn signal lever and the headlight and wiper lever.. »
« You might also try spraying a liberal dose of WD-40 if corrosion is the problem. That's how I fixed nearly non-functioning switches on my old gen 2 Civics... JT »
« Tegger says... Thanks for the information. In case that doesn't work, or doesn't work for long, is replacement of the switch something a reasonably handy normal human being can do without special to.. »
« @newsfe20.lga: Pretty much, yes. The tough part is getting the steering column shrouds off. Without removing the steering wheel, you have to play with tilt position and flex to get them off. Yep. .. »

can someone please tell me where is the turn signal flasher is on an 89 buick century. I found the hazzard flasher but can't find the turn signal flasher. thanks Harry
« Turn on the signal, you will hear the flasher and should be able to locate it that way. -- -Mike- »
« Hi Mike I think the flasher is burned out .It won't flash or click but the hazzard flasher does. thanks »
« In that case, you'll have to paw around up under the dash on the driver's side. I've seen them mounted just over the gas pedal, over near the kick panel, right near the steering column - really, .. »
« yeah I found it. It was burried up over the wire harnesses arround the steering column. Thanks ' Harry »
