Post subject: Tranny Fill Location
Archived from groups: alt>autos>toyota>trucks (more info?)

I just purchased an 87 standard pickup with a 4 speed manual tranny. There
is no owner's manual and he has to locate his Chilton's book. In the
meantime I want to check the level of the tranny, but can't find the plug.
There is a bolt on each side that looks like it might be the fill plug, but
I am not sure which one it is. Is the fill plug on the drivers side or the
passenger side? Thanks.

Mike D.
