After all Japan is first among nations in foreign aid, hosted the
Kyoto Protocol, and pays the largest share of the International Court
(from which America is conspicuously absent), and now Toyota is
selling cheap (poorly engineered) cars on the one hand and SUVs on the
other.

Is that fair? Eventually something will be done about it, I'm sure.

Yes, I care about deeper issues than driving a stupid Toyota. Even my
bicycles would put Toyota to shame. Only the sheep drive Toyota.
