Post subject: Timing belt replacement 1999 Legacy Outback Wagon

It's time for the timing belt to be replaced in this 2.5 liter Subaru engine. What should I expect to pay and does anyone have any suggestions on a good independent mechanic in Pittsburg PA area.
Additionally having problems with the head gasket leaking exhaust gas into coolant, annoying and smelly but what should I expect to pay for the repair bill for head gasket and is it worth it?
