Tank Fuel Pump

Does anyone know where the in tank fuel pump relay is on a '83 240? I'm trying to isolate a problem, car stalls after driving perfectly for a short time on hot days, seems the in tank pump is gone but i am trying to rule out any other faults. High pressure pump workes fine. Any other advice would ..

« Dunno about the 240, but I thought it had a dual section relay module like the 740 does. Those are notorious for becoming intermittent when warm - cracked solder connections. It matches your sympt.. »

I just want to be sure I am not missing something, because I did hard- wire a 1988 model unit onto a 1987 car, and they units are different, but the wires are the same. I tested the wires on the unit with an ohmmeter to make sure I knew what sent current where. My results are that the purple wire ..

Hello, I removed and replaced my in-tank fuel pump on my 240 (1991) I had a tough time getting the tank to line up with the fuel intake metal "tube" and then attaching the clamp that holds the two together. I finally got them to match and then attached the clamp. Now I smell fuel when I drive the..

Checked my G/f's oil in her 2000 Dodge Neon and it had an unmistakeable gasoline smell...What do you think could cause this?? Bad injector seals? Worn Piston rings?? It has an in-tank fuel pump, no mechanical. Anyone please help!!! CJ in VA.
