Tail Light Bulbs

Afternoon folks, I have a 2002 E46, and it looks like the tail light bulbs in the rear wing section of the light are out. Had a look, but cant seem to see how to get into the light to change them. Anyone any idea ?

Quite some time ago I recall someone posting the procedure to change the tail light bulbs in a 98 Explorer. I didn't pay any attention to it at the time, however, I need the info. now. How do I pull up older posts? Or, if someone could please tell me how to get to the bulb. Thanks, Steve
« I will try to be more specific.....I removed the jack, I see where the plug /wiring harness goes through the body. However, I can't determine how to get the socket out of the body. Does it twist.. »
« Hi Newman, thanks for the prompt response. Yes, there are two large screws I can access by lifting the tailgate. After I removed the two screws, I am still unable to get the lense assembly off. .. »
« as I recall, there is a plastic screw type of insert that will come out as you pull on the lens. i believe this is just to keep the bottom of the lens tightly onto the taillight assembly. on min.. »
