Post subject: New Beetle with TDI Reliability
Archived from groups: alt>volkswagen>beetle (more info?)

Hello,

I am thinking about buying a 1998 New Beetle with the TDI. It has relatively
low mileage for an 8 year old car at 56,000.

My question is how reliable is that year model and for that matter, how many
miles can the TDI engine be reliable for?

Thanks!
