Post subject: Stilo Instrument Cluster Get Alert
Archived from groups: alt>autos>fiat (more info?)

The entire instrument cluster "Died" without warning on our 2002 1.6
Dynamic Atile last week and it is with the local Fiat main agents having
it replaced.

The people there say that it is the first one they have ever known to
fail so they are in "Unchartered Waters" as to what sort of a job it is
going to be.

2 questions to anyone with experience of this sort of thing:-

1. What size and complexity of job is it?

2. What are the implications for the mileage (36000) being reset? Have
we lost the integrity of the future reading after the job is completed?

Any information would be usesful thanks,

Stu
