Post subject: Squeaking Noise In Front End 1996 Honda Accord
Hi I have a 1996 Honda accord and when I turn the steering wheel I get a squeaking noise coming from the front end . Can anyone diagnose this problem for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Depends on some specifics, but it could be as simple as a loose power steering belt. If it squeaks while sitting still and turning the wheel either left OR right, it's just a loose power steering belt - all you need to do is tighten it up.

Code p1491 on 1996 accord? - I have the check engine light on and code p1491(Malfunction control auxillary emission control). I have found online where it is the Egr valve that could be bad. I also found online where it can be the radiator fan. I am going to change the radiator....
