I need to know if, and which, Camry's in this range have the same standard spare. Will a 2005 spare fit an '03 or '02, and vice versa? Thanks!

« You need to specify whether you have 4 Cyl or V6 engine. The V6 models are usually 1" larger wheels than the 4 Cyl for any given year. You should be able to find this on info on one of the car webs.. »

I am also looking for a lock to put on my Spare tire for my 2001 Ford Explorer. Even though you may *think* that the spare can't be lowered while the car is locked up, my spare tire has been stolen. They folks at Firestone tire say they see it happen all the time. Has anyone else encountered this ..

Anybody have a drawing of what he Winch looks like new? There is a safety latch that is stopping the tire from coming down, even though the cable is loose. Took a screw driver to drop the tire down so I could change a flat. There appears to be components missing from the assembly. Service manual ..

I bought a 96 850 wagon and it came without the spare tire and jack so I want to try to get them from a junkyard. Does the 850 sedan come with the same thin spare tire or do I have to get it from another station wagon? Thanks, Bill

have a 2003 sorento. the steel cable broke on the spare tire while i was driving, tire went rolling down the highway almost wrecked. kia will not fix . said it was not a problem. anyone have this problem? :!:

I have a 1998 Dodge Caravan and I can not get the spare tire to come down. I crank the nut in the floor of the back storage compartment and the tire starts to come down but stops after comming down about 1.5 inches. The wire cable continues to come out all the way but the tire won't come down ..

If you own a Santa Fe, you may want to screw down the spare tire rack once a year and grease the nut/bolt. I had my 2002 Santa Fe for under 3 years. Had not reason to use the spare. When the dealer did remove my spare, the nut was rusted. He cut the bolt. A new bolt and nut cost $33. plus tax/l..

What the hell holds this thing up? I can pull the cable through the center piece going through the rim center hole but it still doesn't move the tire down enough to tilt and slip the plate through the rim center hole. It looks like the crank only lets cable out or cranks it back in or does it do ..
