Small AMP Drain/Weakening Battery 97 seville sls

headline says it all,...on the amp machine it measures about
1/10th,....
Went fishing around for something that could be causing it and noticed
the trunk light is warm to the touch. How do i take off the lamp
plate?
Screw driver? Does it just pop out if you go under one end?

This could be the problem.

If the light is staying on it's probably the mercury switch that is out of
position.

It's more than likely in the trunk lid or the arms associated with the trunk
lid.
