Archived from groups: alt>autos>volvo (more info?)

Hi all,

Is there any way to completely remove the skidplate on a 1998 V70XC? It
really drives up repair costs (just for a simple job, they have to
remove the back seat and go through there), and I don't really go
offroad at all.

Is this even remotely possible? And would it be terribly expensive
($2000+)?
