My '96 es300 has 95k miles, and still seems to ride OK. Would I notice any change with new shocks and struts? Is this same as Camry v6 shocks/struts? I would lean toward solid fast running rather than floatie ride, but I DON'T want a rough ride. Stick with Lexus/Camry hardware or go aftermarket?..

I have an "84 Chysler New Yorker and I would like to know what brand of shocks and struts on the market is considered the best as far as quality? -- Thanks in advance.
« The very best shocks and struts available for your New Yorker are the Koni units. They are excellent, they are durable, they are adjustable, and they greatly improve the ride and handling, but proba.. »
« For aftermarket replacement shocks, Monroe. Don't *DON'T* get Gabriel shocks or struts. No need to buy OEM shocks from the dealer either. »
« Don't get Monroe. My latest experience with Monroe Sensatrac: Fronts, right out of the box: One was leaking, one would not extend. Rears, right out of the box: One was leaking, one may have been ok... »
