SRS Light came on today V70 00'

Hi my v70 2000yr estate srs light came on today rang the dealership and you
guessed it they want me to call in and have the car sorted their at great
expense they say they cant diagnose without paying some deposit to ensure
they get the work when diagnosed anyone have any ideas what it could be??
When I start the cars in goes out buit only for a few seconds then comes
back on and stays on

Since it goes out shortly after starting, this sounds like a signal
error to the computer which a competent mechanic can decode and
diagnose.

Methinks your dealer is about to do a REALLY big number on yoru
wallet. Find an alternative mechanic who does Volvos. Shouldn't be
rocket science.
