My 96 Explorer 4.0 AT 4wd idles rough when the engine is warm and i
restart after letting it sit 10-20 minutes. Could it be the TPS sensor?
My Caddy did the same thing. tia.

1997 4.0L won't idle - I have a 1997 Explorer 4.0L it will start and stay running as long as there is pressure on the accelerator pedal. I just drove it down the road, it runs fine but will die if I take my foot off of the pedal. This just started today. Any Ideas what the..

98 high idle - Within the last 2 days my idle is over a 1000 and I can really feel while traveling around 30MPH. Inside the engine compartment it says there is no idle adjustment and everything is computer controlled. Anybody had this problem and fixed the idle???
