In removing evaporator, does the blower motor and its housing come out as a
single unit?? jim

What year? You don't have to but normally remove the blower motor first
to make things easier. Check the free online repair guide at
www.autozone.com

The whole assembly can come out as a unit, or the motor can come out
first depending on your preference.

See Figures 2, 3 about the blower motor only in the blower housing.
