My wife's '82 300sd defroster doesn't work, but the light does go on when I flip the switch on. I'm hoping it is a simple fuse problem. Can anyone advise? Thanks
« Replace fuse. It has two different circuit that there is also a relay to route high current to rear window. So light on switch doesn't mean power to rear windows. »

I have been unable to determine the problem with a non-working rear window defogger/defroster on my '79 300D. I was told here that the most likely cause of its failure was am 80A strip fuse that I cannot locate. The 16A fuse in the fusebox has been replaced. The light on the degogger panel switch ..

« Ah, so the information I was given regarding the 80A strip fuse did not apply to the defogger. Thanks for this information, and where is the relay located? Is it likely then that the reply is blown,.. »

Greetings, I posted this on this on the Accura list but did not get a reply, so I figured I try it here. I have a 2000 3.2TL w/the Bose Stereo System. Every time I turn on the rear window defroster, the FM reception gets real scratchy. I realize the antenna is in the glass, but has anyone else e..
