Post subject: Rattling sound coming from car?

Hi I have a 1998 Plymouth Breeze and for a few months now I have been noticing a rattling sound. I can only here it when there car is idle and not while driving. A few months ago I had one of my belts changed and my AC compressor taken off and a bi-pass pulley put on so i have checked that off my list. I can't figure out where this noise is coming from. Anyone care to help? =)

The problem could be with your release bearing or pressure plate diaphragm fingers are broken, or it could be input shaft bearing. Whatever the cause be, make sure you check the clutch, it might require replacement or just a repair. It has been often noticed that release bearings damage quite often especially when driver likes to keep foot resting on clutch pedal while driving.
