| Maybe NHRA needs to pick some other days of the week to race on. The last
few years have been a royal pain in the *ss to those of us who travel a lot
of miles to the races, and I'm sure the crews and owners don't enjoy it
either. NASCAR seems to do well with mid week races. Just my 2 cents
worth.

With the exception of track cleanup and safety, maybe NHRA should just get
out of drag racing and leave it to IHRA and Goodguys.
It's just such a circus politically and at the track. We all know the
issues.
However, the multicar teams don't bother me as much as the Powerade and Army
circus arenas.
And, I think *ALL* nitro teams should have to set up their pits the way the
Worsham's have for years. Now *THATS* spectator friendly.

NASCAR / BUSH has had several mid week night races in the past few months on
FOX, mostly on Wednesday or Thursday.

As a drag racing fan, not a stock car fan, I don't know the diff between
NASCAR/BUSH nor do I have any interest, all I knew was they were racing on
an oval, and not a drag strip on a weekday, my mistake for calling it
NASCAR racing. Least wise it wasn't raining...

I understand your frustration. What I do NOT understand is how you, the
NHRA, or anyone else will be able to (a) explain the concept of days of
the week to weather patterns and fronts, and (b) convince them to adhere
to a schedule made by man.

I don't know that changing the days of the week will make a differnce;
however, it may have been better to go on and run qualifying this past
Sunday and eliminations on Monday, rather than send everyone home
Saturday afternoon and bring them back this Friday. It seems like an
awful lot of travel for the teams.
I was fortunate, because I live about 50 miles away and kept up with
track conditions, so I never even went to the track. It would have
been nice to be watching final eliminations right now!!

enough with the rain its going to mineshaft conditions on friday evening
how fast will pro stock go
was their for wjs 200 mph run
forecast Friday: Sunshine. Highs in the upper 50s and lows in the upper 30s
hope for a couple of oil downs in fuel classes to push back pro stock
second session a bit and we will have a new nat record in et and speed.
