Post subject: RX8 's black fabric ( interior ) is unwise, 45 series tyres suit only smooth roads.
Archived from groups: alt>autos, others (more info?)

Black fabric [i] makes interior very dark : trying to find keys
etc will be harder than in cars with brighter interior [ii] any
black grease / oil stain will be invisible, users need to see a
car's interior is clean & will not ruin their clothes ( esp costly
fur / suede ) : if a passenger's clothes get a stubborn stain, s/he
will think this stain must have come from this car's interior, &
will refuse to sit in this car again. 1 can cover front seats with
sheep*skin ( real / fake ) but not the rear seat / doors, in msia I
never saw any * on sale.
45 series tyres are bumpy on <perfect roads. Changing wheels
& tyres to higher profile type will cost time & money.
For these 2 reasons & its high price in msia ( M$120k for a 4
yr old RX8, in '93 I paid just M$78k for my 3yr old accord with
4ws & made in japan too ), & w-o 4ws / shock absorber bumpers
, I decide not to buy, though its acceleration & weight
distribution is far better than my accord ( improved til as quiet
as RX8 ) 's.
Does any1 here agree ?
