Hey,

I recently obtained a '72 Mercedes 280 SE with a modified 305 HO
transplant. Thing needs a carb rebuild BAD, and i'd just as soon
someone else did it. You know of a great rebuild shop? Does Holley do
rebuilds with a mail-in program or something?

Thanks.

Anyone have an idea what their prices are like? It looks like a
service intended for people that care about their numbers matching,
etc. I'm just looking for a cheap alternative to getting a new carb.
Or is that unrealistic?

Ok, i only lost one idle screw, and the pump discharge needle &
ballweight. Arrgh. I also need a 5.5Hg power valve (same as what was
in there), and i'd like to pick up one of those solid floats while i'm
at it to replace a brass one that is in there now. So, where do you
guys go to buy your holley parts? I've tried a handful of the places
that Holley mentions on their website, but no luck so far.
