I have a 91 ranger that leaks fluid from the Power steering pump sometimes.
The pressure line turns in the fitting at the pump,
even with the fitting tight, should it? I just got it & don`t know yet where
its leaking. I cleaned it up & I`m watching.

If I remember correctly from my '93 Aerostar, that is normal.
The seal is done with an annular O-ring on the end of the
hose so it doesn't depend on getting the nut super tight, it
is not a compression fitting.

But I could definitely be wrong...

Thanks mark, that explains no leak. Maybe it has a intermitint shaft seal
leak.
I finished replacing all 4 wheel seals today, those fronts are a bear on 4 x
4.
I never saw calipers come off that way, one of fords better ideas? ;<)
