Post subject: Pimple on the knob?

On my VW passat TDI.....on each door locking knob is a tiny raised
pimple, very small. Can anyone tell me what these are for, please?

Possibly where the plastic was injected into the mold?

Although I would have through that they would have positioned it
to be out of sight.

Your local drug store should have something for acne. Put it on your
knob and your problem will vanish.
