My Subaru 4wd acted as if I just shut off the key. I got juice to the
distributer but not out of it. I'm not a mechanic, But it seems the pickup
coil is the problem. This thing new is like $400...Anyone know where to get
a used one? Any ideas what else to look at? I need help here. I'm dead in
the water.

Thanks

First state what model/year you have. My guess, actually two, is something
from the 80s and the problem is a broken timing belt. Remove distributor
cap and crank engine. If the rotor remains stationary then there is the
problem.
