Not taken my own and sod's law says it'll be pissing down when I collect
it, so here's a link to some grabbed from the dealer's website:

I've done it again - please ignore my last T-Spark post as I just found your
other reply. I think I'm having one of those 'engage mouth before brain'
days!

Heh, it's OK - I've had to explain it to the insurance and warranty
people today.... the reg. plate doesn't come up with full details as
it's an import, and their system doesn't recognise the TSpark on a 56
plate, as it should be a JTS.....

Must be one of the newest TS engines on the planet though - I presume they
stopped building them around the end of 2002, or does the 147 still use
them?

147s still have them.

And hasn't it been re-introduced as a budget option on the GT and 159?

(I know the GT is a 1.8TS, not sure about the 159 1.8MPI, though)

I saw both posts and I still don't get it. When did the car roll off the
production line?

Erm, how does a car manufactured in 2002 pick up a 2006 reg? Is this some
sort of import fiddle, or has it been sitting in an airfield for 4 years?

Clearly, it happens, but why do manufacturers make cars, then leave them
sitting around for 4 years before selling them off at well below price? Some
sort of tax thing perhaps?

I think the importers went bus, and Alfa had to sue to get them back.

That's my understanding of it.

You can still buy a new 147 TSpark Selespeed with similar history.
