Was at Pat Skelly's yesterday.
We putzed around and got his dormant '60 Hawk started.
Had to file and adjust the points a tad, but it started right up and
ran very, very smooth.
Smolked a little, but that was because of the Marvel Mystery Oil that
was added.
After a few minutes it cleared right out and ran clean.
Had a little off idle hesitation, but I dribbled a little Marvel
Mystery Oil into the accellerator pump rod hole and that cured that
issue.
I was eyeballing the car, and it is really a decent Hawk.
Has fiberglass front fenders that I had to look real hard to tell...
Needs some interior work, and a paint job, but it is a decent Hawk for
the money.
Anyways, Pat said he was fixing it up and was thinking about putting
it up on Ebay.
If anyone wants a decent entry level '60 Hawk for a very modest price,
get in touch with Pat Skelly before he jams it on Ebay.
