Got in my '04 RX330 this morning and all pressure seemed to be gone from the brakes. They would work if you pushed on them very hard. Parking brake light was also on on the dash, but the parking brake was not engaged. I tried to engage and release it a couple of times but that didn't seem to help...

For the first time since I owned my '04 Taco I used the parking brake (I was always raised under the belief that it was an emergency brake and only to be used in emergencies, I have no idea what those emergencies would be, but I digress). After returning the brake handle to it's normal position..

my parking brake light has been on for the past 2 days...before it was just when i pushed on the brakes and it would turn off when i started to accelerate but now it is on constantly....i tried pulling the brake up but its not doing anything....what could possibly be the problem?
