Hi: I own a 1998 E-320 with 35K miles. The oil sensor device was replaced after getting an "Oil Sensor Defective" signal. The same warning still comes up occasionally on engine start up. Could this have anything to do with reprogramming the car computer after the part replacement? Any help ..

I am trying to locate the oil pressure switch/sensor location in/on the car. I know what it looks like as a part and understand it is in the same circuit as the fuel pump but cannot seem to locate it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Respectfully

« "Rufio": Sorry for poking fun. The sensor is very easy to change. I doubt that it's the problem, however, but maybe. It's a cheap place to start, anyway. »
