Post subject: Novice looking for help with 86 Nomad Get Alert

The 86 Nomad that I own has got a few problems one of the main problems is it feul consumption I only get 150KMs out of a tank Ive had the compression checked and it came back all cylinders have got 150 psi what could cause it to be so thirsty for feul I dont know the model motor that it has in it but it has got 8 spark plugs for a four cylinder anybody know what is going on with it Im going to take to a mechanic but I dont want a $2000 bill for something that might only cost a couple of hundred to fix Confused
