How do you go about limiting steering travel with a Mustang II manual
rack?

The passengers side is easy to accomplish with a Ford 1/4" spacer
C-Clip designed for this purpose. I just clipped one over the steering
shaft and viola.

However, the drivers side isn't so easy. The worm gear on the rack and
the steering shaft are exposed on the manual rack and the plastic clip
simply jams into the gear teeth and break.

What's the right way to limit this rack? I've called Flaming River as
well as UniSteer; neither had a solution for the Manual Mustang II
rack.

make a stop that causes interference, i.e. a welded nut on the steering
arm that has a bolt screwed in that allows the bolt head to hit lower
a-frame, etc.
