How can the mechanic disable the speed sensor warning buzzer in a 1994 Mitsubishi Montero? It is LOUD and annoying between 65 and 70 mph.

By disconnecting/cutting its signal wire?

Either reset the warning sensor to a higher speed, drive slower or pull the
buzzer.
