Actually, the 2008 was just posted to Honda's web site, the "NEW" EPA rating
is for 40/45 hybrid & 25/?? gas....so you are doing just about right, follow
the link I gave you below & try some of the high mileage driving tips & see
if you can't improve a bit... I do understand it takes a while for these
cars to break in, I have heard 3,000-7,000 miles but if you look at the
hypermilers, most of their driving is on the freeway, at reduced speed, with
the a/c off, drafting big rigs.....sorry, 55 mpg isn't worth that to me, my
40-45 is just fine for now,
