Post subject: Mazda Miata overheating

I have a 1994 Mazda Miata and it wants to overheat when I take it to highway speeds. I have checked the fan and it is running fine. When I try to use the air conditioning it oveheats much quicker. I have removed the thermostat and it has helped a bit. Any suggestions
