I believe John has a dual kadron engine, if it is the same engine as in the
message thread bellow.
That's why I believe there is a big possibility that it is a vacuum leak or
a clogged idle circuit problem.

Thanks, but I did not know he was running dual carbs.
I agree with you about a carb problem then.

Ignition Switch 79 SB - Engine cuts out without any apparent pattern. My ignition key seems to have a lot of 'play' within the 'run position' - ignition switch. Just jiggling the key within the run position makes the car stall out (simulates the problem). Connected a rubber ban...

Replacing an ignition lock cylinder '73 bug - There are plenty of good posts about how to remove the lock cylinder, and I was able to do that successfully. However I cannot for the life of me get the new one back in...any body else had a problem installing a new one?

non-repeat feature of ignition switch not working - A while back I replaced the ignition switch in my '72 with the one from my parts car. Now with the `new' one, the non-repeat function doesn't work. Is this something in the switch that is bad? Or is there something else somewhere that I need to check? ...
